Swartruggens Residents Performance Measurement of KLM,

the 

Vehicle to Build and Establish a Growing, Sustainable Corridor

Swartruggens Town Residents decided to be the catalyst contribute positively to change, we believe in “Second Chances” and therefore seek to find different, Inclusive way’s to embrace the future. We as residents and municipality can only succeed if we align our resources, skills and work towards a mutual goal – “To optimize Swartruggens town’s growth potential to the full, to focus on the town’s strategic opportunity – the N4 Corridor.  In order to achieve this, the towns services and offerings to the users of the corridor should be exceptional, value adding and unique.

We started our journey , developing the following performance model to measure Swartruggens towns “Rise” against the commitment of KLM’s Vision, Mission, Values and service delivery and service statements monthly. We believe that the intent KLM exhibit in their strategy will ensure that the town progress to an example of effectiveness. We will be “the” town on the “Platteland” in South Africa. The residents of Swartruggens town (Borolelo not included – reasons explained and acknowledged by KLM) created an evidence based model, to address systemic as well as concrete challenges experienced by the towns Residents and KLM and all our “USERS”, using the N4.

The Residents will be be full partners in all aspects that influence and effecting Swartruggens Residents, KLM and the N4 Corridor Users. We believe this focus will ensure that Swartruggens town can be a model “Plattelandse” town. In addition, the corridor also has enormous potential to benefit the other towns in KLM. If managed correctly and responsible it may contribute to the overall income, image, and value proposition in the whole of KLM.

The Residents strive to be full partners in all aspects influencing and effect the towns residents and the corridor users. We believe this focus and determination will not only ensure Swartruggens town to be a model town but have the unlimited potential to benefit the whole of Kgetlengriver Local Municipality’s income, image, value proposition.
